Kristallwelten Geodesy Light in Motion
A photograph while captured in motion over a period of time can reveal activity impossible to see with the capabilities of the human eye and mind. The colorful lights reflected and refracted inside the mirrored Crystal Dome actually flash 50 times per second. The Swarovski Kristallwelten crystal dome in Austria was modeled after Sir Richard Buckminster Fuller's geodesic dome, whose architectural design perfectly reflects the principle of geodesy - the scientific discipline devoted to geographical measurement and representation of the Earth.
