In the world of auto racing, finding "The Line" is a combination of skill and art. Here we see the journey of the field of racing machines and their skilled drivers through The Esses at night, during the 2018 Petit LeMans 12-hour race at Road Atlanta. Time was used to generate a composite image comprised of 1second exposures over the course of nearly two minutes. This image began as a 129-minute Live Composite of 595 thirteen-second captures of the stars as they rotate about the North Star (ok, the Earth rotates, with the North Star remaining in a fixed position in the sky).
