27-January, 2018 2:27pm A lone wolf of the 19-member Wapiti pack endures the blowing snow for remnants of an elk carcass near Indian Creek in Yellowstone National Park. The Wapiti pack had taken down the elk two days prior to capturing this image. We were within 25 yards of the wolf. The remaining members of the pack were likely nearby, watching US.
